Beatrice
Newbery
Beatrice helps teams and individuals to craft powerful pitches and presentations and then deliver them with impact. She works with all levels of seniority and is particularly experienced in developing the credibility and confidence of emerging leaders as they step into the spotlight. Before completing a Masters in Professional Voice at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Beatrice spent 20 years as a print and radio journalist for British broadsheet papers and BBC Radio, covering International Development and life in the Global South. Beatrice’s clients include leading organisations across sectors and industries, and individuals from as far as Fiji and Ecuador. Not shy of a big project, she once individually prepared 30 young changemakers - many speaking in their third language - to deliver delegate speeches at a global summit. Far too long ago, she spent a year working for the Tibetan Government in Exile in India. She is a trustee for Sandblast, a small charity helping Saharawi refugees in the Algerian Sahara to express their plight through the arts.
