The Briefing Course
The right information, in the right order
In many organisations, communication is still too long, too indirect or delayed while people wait for perfect information.
Drawing on proven military briefing techniques, The Briefing Course gives people a disciplined, repeatable method for cutting through the noise, built on three principles: prioritisation, purpose and people. Participants learn to lead with what matters most, be clear whether they need someone to understand, decide or act, and shape every briefing around the person receiving it, in a distinctly human voice at a time when AI-generated drafts can all start to sound the same.
The course is led by Ben Timpson, who spent 13 years in the armed forces advising senior military leaders. Participants leave with a method they can use straight away, so leaders can understand the situation and make confident decisions quickly.
